PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic analyzer selecting a different kind of specimen storage part as the need arises. SOLUTION: This analyzer includes input/output means 12, 47 for connecting various kinds of specimen storage parts 4A-4E having each different storage form of a specimen container 42 storing the specimen to be dispensed into a reaction part 3 of an analysis machine 1, to the analysis machine 1, for inputting/outputting a control signal mutually between the analysis machine 1 and the specimen storage parts 4A-4E. Namely, each specimen storage part 4A-4E of a different kind can be selected as the need arises.
