PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horizontal jump seat capable of preventing detachment of a lock tool without a risk for generating noises from the lock tool even when it is swung. SOLUTION: In this horizontal jump seat 14, a strap 43 comprises a strap body 76 having a lock tool 44 whose one end is connected with a seat cushion 33 and whose other end is connected locked to a compartment side wall 23, and an elastic body 77 energizing the strap body in a shrinking direction. The elastic body 77 is mounted to an outer face 78 of the strap body directed to the compartment side wall while it is holding the horizontal jump seat 11, and is provided between an inner part 35 of a seat cushion on a center side of the compartment and the lock tool 44.
