PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable image characteristics to be set separately on resource data and print data. SOLUTION: A color characteristic setting section 34 is constituted of: a setting means for setting a color characteristic in data of preprint form stored in a preprint form data storage 32; and a setting means for setting a color characteristic of print data inputted by a print data inputting section 31. Decomposers 41-44 independently perform color conversion processings based on respectively set color characteristics to the print data and the preprint form data when the color characteristic set to the print data by the color characteristic setting section 34, and the color characteristics set to the preprint form data, are different from each other.
