The endoscopic operation device comprises a treatment tool (201) with a moving function, having a treating portion (202) with a treatment function and being inserted into the channel of an endoscope (101), a means for setting the reference position O of treatment by the treatment tool (201) and the reference direction D for the reference position O, a means for detecting the moving state of the treatment tool (201) in the reference direction D with respect to the reference position O, and a means for controlling the moving function or the treatment function based on the moving state.
