A hydraulic elevating fish ladder is provided to help fish to swim upstream at a water fall or a dam without power devices by elevating fish. A hydraulic elevating fish ladder comprises an elevator(10) and a fish guide path(C). The elevator is installed at a dam or a waterfall. The fishing guide path is constructed at the downstream. The elevator includes upward and downward buckets(11,12), and a chain(13). The elevator rotates by moving the downward buckets attached to the chain with falling water of the dam or waterfall. The upward buckets are installed between the downward buckets to scoop up water downstream. The upward bucket is opened in opposite direction of the downward buckets. |
