METHOD OF SCREENING IMMUNE MODULATING AGENTS USING RECOMBINANT REPORTER PLASMIDS CONTAINING CONSERVED NON-CODING SEQUENCES OF CYTOKINE GENES

A method for screening immune modulating agents is provided to induce immunosuppression without causing nonspecific immunosuppression and immunodeficiency by using recombinant reporter plasmids containing conserved non-coding sequences of cytokine genes. A method for screening immune modulating agents comprises the steps of: (a) obtaining CNS(conserved non-coding sequence) of cytokine genes having the nucleotide sequence of one selected from SEQ ID NOs:1-12; (b) inserting the CAS of cytokine genes into a vector having a reporter gene; (c) introducing the vector prepared in step (b) into an animal cell; and (d) treating the animal cell with a candidate material and measuring the expression increase or decrease of the reporter gene, wherein the reporter gene is selected from luciferase, green fluorescent protein, alkaline phosphatase, CAT(chloramphenicol acetyltransferase) and galatosidase.
