A method for providing a card transmission service using an avatar is provided to transfer a message effectively to other users by creating a 3D(Dimensional) avatar based on 3D scanning data received from a user, making a card applying the 3D avatar of the user, and transmitting the card to other users through the mobile network or the Internet. A web server creates a 3D avatar image by receiving personal information, 3D scanning data, which is obtained by scanning a user, and voice data from a user PC, and using the 3D scanning data. A 3D avatar card is made by composing the 3D avatar image, the received voice data, and a card stored in the web server, and the user selects a 3D card receiving tool of receivers. The 3D avatar card is transmitted to the selected 3D card receiving tool. A 3D avatar card making step comprises steps for selecting a desired card provided from the web server of a card service company(S321), generating an avatar moving picture wearing a fashion item selected by the user(S323), inputting a message to the selected card(S324), and generating the 3D avatar card by composing the avatar moving picture, the message, and the selected card(S325). |
