A message transmission method of a portable terminal is provided to attach additional information of a sender to a spare payload when a message is transmitted to a receiver of certain condition, therefore the receiver can easily notify a state of the sender. When a message is transmitted, it is decided whether a receiver number is authenticated(S201-S206). If so, size of a spare payload is confirmed(S207). Additional information of a sender to be attached is collected according to the confirmed results of the spare payload(S208-S210). The collected additional information is attached to the message, so that the message attached with the additional information is transmitted(S211,S212). |
