A double disc type aqua plug valve is provided to improve durability without damage to a pipe disc and a seat by vertically driving a driving disc. A transfer pipe(30) has guide plates(33). The guide plates have guide grooves(32) with vertical units(31) at both sides. A pipe disc(50) is installed over the transfer pipe and has brackets(51) to couple rods(200) and a seat(53) inside a seat inserting unit. A driving disc(40) is installed over the pipe disc and has driving shaft through holes(41) at both lower sides and guide grooves(43) at both upper sides. The rods have guide protrusions(201,201') inserted into the guide grooves of the guide plates of the transfer pipe and the guide protrusions inserted into the guide grooves of the driving disc. Rod coupling units(300) have rod inserting units(301) and driving shaft through holes(302). Driving shafts(400) are fixed to the transfer pipe through the driving shaft through holes of the transfer pipe and the rod coupling units and rotate the driving disc and the pipe disc.
