A bright light emitting element is provided. The light emitting element includes a fiber core (2), a first electrode (1) a light emitting layer (3) and a second electrode (4) in this order. The light emitting layer (3) is at least on the one selected from the fiber core (2) and the first electrode (1). The second electrode (4) is not transparent, is on an external plane of the light emitting layer (3) and occupies 30% or more but not more than 80% of an external plane of the light emitting layer (3). |
