<p>A case for accommodating batteries is provided to prevent inverse installation of a battery causable by a user and to inhibit damage of a battery contact terminal and an internal circuit causable when a battery is reversibly mounted. A case for accommodating batteries includes: a case main body(102) having a battery-receiving part; a positive electrode contact terminal(104) which is disposed at one end part of the battery-receiving part; and a negative electrode contact terminal(103) which is disposed at the other end part of the battery-receiving part. The one end part of the battery-receiving part has a first groove part(102c) in which the positive electrode contact terminal is installed, and a barrier(102a) formed close by the first groove part. The other end part of the battery-receiving part has a second groove part in which the negative electrode contact terminal is installed, and a reverse-receiving prevention wall(200) which is installed away from the second groove part and shields the second groove part. An opening is formed below the reverse-receiving protection wall. At least a part of the negative electrode contact terminal is protruded through the opening. A distance between the barrier and the reverse-receiving protection wall is shorter than a longitudinal total length ranging from a positive electrode protrusion to a negative electrode surface of a battery.</p> |
