The magazine (10) has a conveying element (17) for removing products from a tubular trestle (11), and a connecting unit (18) for coupling the tubular trestle to the conveying element. The connecting unit is arranged at a distance from the conveying element for forming channels (19). A closure unit (26) i.e. band element, is provided in an area of the connecting unit and formed for opening and closing an opening. The closure unit stays in effective connection with a movable actuating element (27) i.e. slider, such that the closure unit is opened and closed with respect to the trestle. An independent claim is also included for a method for serial emptying of a tubular trestle filled with bar-shaped products, in a trestle emptying station.
