A terminal block is provided to reduce the number of parts, to reduce assembly processes, and to cut costs of the products by fitting units and cover blocks vertically, combining common lead wire pieces with the unit blocks, and preventing the unit and cover blocks from separating horizontally by catching grooves and protrusions. A terminal block(1) comprises unit blocks(100), common lead wire pieces, short bolts(400), and a pair of cover blocks(500,550). The unit blocks have pressing terminal pieces which are installed in first screw holes by fixing bolts. The common lead wire pieces have through holes. The short bolts forms a common circuit or turns off the common circuit. The cover blocks cover the outside of the unit blocks. Combining grooves(600) and combining projections(650) are formed on the surface where the cover blocks face the unit blocks. The combined unit and cover blocks are prevented from separating horizontally by catching grooves and protrusions which are formed on two sides of the combining grooves and the combining projections. Combining holes(590) are vertically formed on ends of the cover blocks to fix the terminal blocks to a fixed object by combining bolts. Mounting grooves(450) are formed on two vertical sides of the unit blocks to fix stripped name plates(3).
