SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR INTERWORKING SERVICE BETWEEN HETEROGENEOUS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

A method and a system for interworking a service between heterogeneous networks are provided to enable first and second systems to use a frame configured with an unoverlapped frequency band, thereby interworkling a Wibro communication system with a Wibro evolution communication system. First and second systems use the same preamble(100). The second system is a system evolved from the first system, and decodes a control signal and a broadcasting signal used in the first system. The first and second systems provide a service by using an unoverlapped frequency band. The first system is a Wibro(Wireless Broadband) or WiMAX communication system. The second system is a Wibro evolution communication system. A frame comprises the preamble, a downlink sub frame(110) and an uplink sub frame(120).
