FOCUS SERVO METHOD OF OPTICAL DISK DEVICE

A focus servo method of an optical disk device is provided to record accurate data in a disk by inserting a preset offset amount in a focus error amount, displacing an objective lens to a position proper to record the data and starting the data record. A focus servo method of an optical disk device comprises: starting a recording start command when a data recording command signal is sensed(S1); determining an offset amount which is inserted to a focus error amount(S2); moving an objective lens to a data recording start position under the tracking control and focus control(S3); inserting the offset amount to the focus error amount(S4); starting the data record(S5); reducing the offset amount inserted in the focus error amount slowly(S6); and finishing the data record when the offset insertion amount is 0(S7,S8).
