A method and an apparatus for displaying advertisements are provided to enable a user to easily replace the advertisement by screw-coupling a bracket with an outer periphery of a pole. An apparatus for displaying advertisements displays an advertisement on a pole and includes a bracket(12), a protecting case(22), and an advertisement plate(32). The bracket is attached to the pole. The protecting case is coupled with the bracket and fixed on the bracket. The advertisement plate is inserted into the protecting case. Plural bumps are formed on an outer surface of the advertisement plate processing case, such that an illegal advertisement is prevented from being attached to the outer surface of the protecting case.
