An e-wallet supporting financial transaction terminal device for providing financial services and a method thereof are provided to enable a user to selectively use various kinds of financial services of various kinds of financial facilities by installing a USB(Universal Serial Bus) communicator linked with an e-wallet device storing financial information of the user. An input unit(110) receives financial information from a financial medium such as a bankbook or a card. An output unit(120) outputs a user interface or providing financial services. A controller(140) processes the financial services in interconnection with an e-wallet program of an e-wallet device by driving an e-wallet supporting program. A storage unit(150) stores the e-wallet supporting program. An external communicator(160) communicates with a financial facility server through the wired/wireless Internet or an excluding line. A USB communicator(170) interfaces data communication with the e-wallet device. The e-wallet device includes a flash memory, a smart card, and a USB interface, and manages/stores/transfers the financial information of a user, requests the financial service, and receives/displays a processing result by driving the e-wallet program when an e-wallet supporting financial transaction terminal(100) is connected. |
