Method of manufacturing pressed salt products, shaped products manufacturable by this method and use thereof

Process to make shaped products from salt by pressing salt comprising an iron ammonium complex of ahydroxypolycarboxylic acid in an amount sufficient to render the salt non-caking, and which salt has a pH of from 4 to 10, at pressures of from 5000 to 25000 N/cm2. Shaped salt products and their use e.g. as salt lick and/or salt products used at water softening.
