A tetraazacyclopane derivative, and an organic light emitting diode containing the derivative as an organic electroluminescent material are provided to improve brightness and luminous efficiency and to enhance lifetime. A tetraazacyclopane derivative is represented by the formula 1, wherein R1 and R2 are identical or different each other and are a substituted or unsubstituted C1-C6 alkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted allyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted aralkyl group, or a substituted or unsubstituted heterocyclic group.
