An electronic contactor is provided to increase productivity and to simplify a structure by implementing a universal pulse width modulation control unit having one self reference voltage without an additional complex circuit. An electronic contactor includes a PWM controller(130), a current detector(150), a switch(140), and a driving coil(170). The PWM controller controls current flowing in the driving coil by classifying an input current and a maintaining current. The current detector converts the input current and the maintaining current into the same detected current, applies the detected current to the PWM controller, and includes a timer. The timer detects an input current flowing time and a maintaining current flowing time. The switch is connected to the driving coil in series and turns on/off the driving coil.
