THERMOSETTING INK COMPOSITION FOR COLOR FILTER, COLOR FILTER USING THE COMPOSITION AND LCD COMPRISING THE COLOR FILTER

A thermosetting ink composition, a color filter prepared by using the composition, and a liquid crystal display device containing the color filter are provided to improve heat resistance and chemical resistance and to allow it to introduce the thermal curing system of high degree of crosslinking. A thermosetting ink composition comprises a binder resin which contains an oxazoline group or its derivative; a resin which contains a carboxylic acid and a polymerizable ethylene group; 5-25 wt% of a polymerizable compound which has an ethylenically unsaturated bond; 0.1-5 wt% of a thermal polymerization initiator; 0.5-20 wt% of a colorant; and 10-95 wt% of a solvent. Preferably the amount of the binder resin and the resin which contains a carboxylic acid and a polymerizable ethylene group is 1-20 wt%.
