METHOD FOR SCHEDULING RESOURCE IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

A method for scheduling resources in a wireless communication system is provided to allocate the resources to an MS in consideration of a data rate and a packet generation cycle which can be varied according to time, thereby minimizing a waste of the resources. A method for allocating resources to an MS(Mobile Station) in a wireless communication system comprises the following steps of: enabling the MS to determine whether the generation cycle of a packet to be transmitted is changed(802); notifying a BS(Base Station) of an increase of the packet generation cycle before transmitting an initial packet corresponding to the increased packet generation cycle(804); and receiving the resources in correspondence to the packet generation cycle increased from the BS(806).
