MULTI FUNCTIONAL OPTICAL FILM FOR BACK LIGHT UNIT

A multi functional optical film for a backlight unit is provided to minimize a light loss in a backlight unit by forming a one-directional reflective coating layer at a bottom of the optical film. A multi functional optical film for a backlight unit includes a prism, which is laminated on a base(30). The prism includes main prisms(10) and auxiliary prisms(15). Isosceles triangle structures with threshold angles in a vertical or horizontal direction are successively formed in the main prism. Isosceles triangle structures having the threshold angles in a direction crossing the main prism are successively formed in the auxiliary prism. Small protrusions are protruded from outer surfaces of the main focusing process and the auxiliary prism. A round portion is formed on an upper apex of the main prism. An inter-pitch distance or a one-pitch length of the auxiliary prism is adjusted, such that a brightness of the optical film is changed.
