A cigarette monitoring device capable of monitoring individual smoking behaviour and particularly smoke deliveries and of communicating this and other information to a remote location and/or the consumer. The device comprises a cigarette monitoring means, fluid-flow pressure drop and smoke density detection means, data transmission means, data receiving and processing means, as well as means to display the processed data. Display means of the invention may display information that is of interest to the smoker and may offer a direct sales service to the consumer. |
