A pet dryer having an air volume and temperature control function is provided to facilitate pet hair drying by discharging a cross air flow of controlled temperature and volume according to a pet. A pet dryer comprises a main casing(10), a cross flow fan(20), and a holder(30). The main casing includes a rectangular outlet(14) having a built-in heater(12). An outlet grill(13) is provided between the outlet and the heater to prevent the intrusion of foreign matters. An outlet cover(16) is also hinged to the entrance of the outlet. The cross flow fan provides cold/hot wind, and rotatably connected to the main casing through a bearing. The cross flow fan is driven by a fan motor which is connected to a continuously variable transmission or to a Micom for the control of rotation speed of the cross flow fan. Further, a controller(50) is installed underneath the holder to control a swing motor fixed at the holder and the fan motor. |
