A waterwheel driven by high pressure and a drainage pump using the same are provided to prevent urgent circumstances not capable of driving the drainage pump by flooding of a basement equipped with an electricity supply unit. A waterwheel driven by high pressure and a drainage pump using the same comprise the steps of: rotating a motor driven by flow speed and pressure of the tap water supplied in high pressure; and driving the drainage pump with the rotational force.
