A method and a system for identifying a resonant frequency are provided to measure a speed feedback value by applying a sinusoidal variable signal to a motor by using a drive. An industrial automation system includes a speed adjuster(112) and a power signal spectrum(105). The speed adjuster is related to a motor system. The power signal spectrum determines a resonant frequency of the motor system, which is formed by outputs of the speed adjuster. A current adjuster is formed as a part of the motor system to set a torque. An excitation component applies an excitation signal to the motor system to determine the resonant frequency. The motor system includes a motor and a drive. |
