A driving circuit of an LCD device is provided to prevent the degradation of image quality by discharging timely residual voltages or static electricity stored in a liquid crystal panel. A driving circuit of an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device includes a timing controller(21), gate and data drivers(22,23), a liquid crystal panel(24), a discharging controller(25), and a discharging unit(26). The timing controller outputs control signals for driving the gate and data drivers. The gate driver supplies gate on signals to respective gate lines. The data driver supplies data signals to respective data lines. The liquid crystal panel driven by the data and gate on signals displays images. The discharging controller controls the discharging unit by driving a control signal from outside. The discharging unit supplies a common voltage to a common voltage line of the liquid crystal panel or discharges residual voltages or static electricity stored in the common voltage line under control of the discharging controller. |
