A display device added with an input function is provided to suppress effects of noise caused by a driving signal by preventing coupling between a couple of electrodes and a detection electrode without forming a complex system and without excessively thickening a second substrate. In a first substrate(11), a couple of electrodes for driving an LC(Liquid Crystal) layer(13) are formed. A second substrate(12) faces the first substrate as leaving a space for the LC layer. A detection electrode(15) and a dielectric film(17) are formed by being laminated in the outside of the second substrate. A detector detects a formation location of electrostatic capacitance formed between the detection electrode and the detector through the dielectric film. The second substrate has a shield conductor(52) formed in a side adjacent to the LC layer. An electric potential of the shield conductor is fixed. |
