An anode, a method for preparing the anode, and a battery containing the anode are provided to improve the cycle characteristics and swelling property of a battery. An anode comprises an anode current collector(1); and an anode active material layer(2) which is installed on the anode current collector, wherein the anode active material layer comprises a plurality of anode active material particles containing silicon(Si), and a metal element capable of not being alloyed with an electrode reactive material is contained at the gap between the anode active material particles. Preferably the anode active material particles are connected with the anode current collector or are alloyed with the anode current collector.
