An expansion joint of a pipe line is provided to prevent heated water from leaking by providing a plurality of packings for air tightness between inner and outer pipes. An expansion joint(1) includes an inner pipe(2) and an outer pipe(3). The outer pipe includes a pipe expansion part(31) and a connection part(32). The inner pipe has the same diameter as that of a pipe line(100). The pipe expansion part has a diameter greater than that of the inner pipe to allow the insertion of the inner pipe. The connection part is inserted into a connection hole(210) of a first connection flange(200) and welded. The inner pipe includes a metal pipe having the same diameter as that of the pipe line.
