A method and a device for performing simulation are provided to efficiently manage computing resources for simulation by simulating simulated objects included in an image such as a game image in various precisions according to user operation. A precision recognizer(110) recognizes precision determined or preset by considering a simulation environment given to a simulated object. A simulator(120) simulates the object in the recognized precision. The simulation environment includes at least one of a time point, a distance between the objects, and determination for determining whether the object is included in a visual field of the time point. The simulator simulates the object according to a process simplifying the most precise simulation depending on the recognized precision. A simulation result is updated in a frequency corresponding to the recognized precision while the simulator is repeatedly operated.
