A game machine in which a predetermined game processing can be executed by a relatively simple processing according to how a region of interest in a virtual three-dimensional space is displayed on a game screen (for example, the size, or the position within the game careen, or the like). The coordinates of an object placed in virtual three-dimensional space are transformed to those of a screen coordinate system by using a predetermined coordinate transformation calculation, and thereby a game screen on which a scene of the three-dimensional space viewed from a given viewpoint is shown is created. A reference point storage section (56) stores the coordinate values of one or more reference points determined in relation to a region of interest of the virtual three-dimensional space. A coordinate value acquiring section (58) transforms the coordinate values of the reference points to those of a screen coordinate system by using the predetermined coordinate transformation calculation and thereby acquires the coordinate values on the screen coordinate system of the reference points. A game processing executing section (62) executes a predetermined game processing according to the acquired coordinate values. |
