A terminal device is provided to output a sound according to sound information stored in an ICC(IC Chip) of a smart card when a user uses the smart card, and emphasize individuality of the user by outputting the unique sound of the user. A converter(120) obtains sound information stored in an application style from an ICC of a smart card, converts the sound information into sound data, and outputs the sound data to an output unit(125) when a user uses the smart card. The output part outputs the sound data to the outside of a terminal device. A controller(110) extracts, reads, and/or executes an application based on access code control information received from the smart card by responding to an instruction including an access code.
