APPARATUS FOR REMOVING PROTECTION FILM OF POLARIZER AND METHOD THEREOF

An apparatus and a method for removing a polarizer protection film are provided to remove the protection film by using a clamping unit, thereby removing the necessity for a tape and accordingly reducing a manufacturing cost. A protection film peeling unit(300) is installed between a couple of guide rails, and peels a protection film(2) attached to a polarizer(1). A transfer unit moves the protection film peeling unit. The protection film peeling unit includes a peeling roller(340), a couple of connection units(330) and a clamping unit(350). The peeling roller is contacted with the protection film. The connection units are connected to both ends of a central shaft(341) of the peeling roller. The clamping unit is installed in a central shaft(331) of the connection unit. The peeling roller and the clamping unit are rotatable centering on the central shaft of the connection unit.
