ARRAY SUBSTRATE AND DISPLAY APPARATUS USING THE SAME

An array substrate and a display device using the same are provided to display images of high quality by preventing mis-alignment and increasing an aperture ratio. A gate line(130) is formed on a substrate(100). A plurality of data lines(150) cross the gate line. A plurality of pixel regions are defined on the substrate by the gate line and the data lines. The pixel regions include a first and second sub regions. The gate line is disposed between the first and second sub regions. A thin film transistor is formed at each of the pixel regions. A pixel electrode(170) is formed on the thin film transistor and is electrically connected to the thin film transistor. Storage lines(131,132) are formed apart from the gate line on the substrate and are positioned in a boundary between the pixel regions. Floating electrodes(136,137) are formed apart from the gate line and the storage lines on the substrate and are positioned in a boundary between the pixel regions.
