摘要 An aerosol particle charger using carbon fiber is provided to increase charging efficiency without using radioactive material in comparison with a conventional aerosol particle charger using the radioactive materials. An aerosol particle charger using carbon fiber includes a chamber(1), laminar meshes(5,6), an insulation body(10), a discharging part, and a high voltage applying unit(30). The chamber includes an inlet duct(2) and an outlet duct(3) for drawing in and out the aerosol. The laminar meshes are installed in the chamber near the inlet duct and an outlet duct respectively. The insulation body is installed on the chamber in one body with the chamber between the laminar meshes. The discharging part includes a bundle of carbon fiber(21) and a power connector(23). The carbon fiber is fixed to the insulation body. The power connector is installed on the exterior of the chamber. The high voltage applying unit applies high voltage on the discharging part.
