A refrigerator is provided to precisely measure the amount of ice by forming a wide lower end of a detection lever, which is additionally connected to a rotation lever. A refrigerator comprises an ice storage chamber(8), an ice making unit(50) installed over the ice storage chamber, and a detection lever(60) installed on a side of the ice making unit. Ice is collected on the storage chamber, and the ice storage chamber transfers the ice. The detection lever includes a straight part(61) bent downward on a rotation center and detects the amount of ice collected in the ice storage chamber based on a rotation degree of the detection lever. A lower portion of the straight part is curved to widen a contact area with ice.
