A brake system of a motor is provided to prevent the motor from being damaged by releasing a supporting state of a heavy material on a rotation shaft of the motor. A brake system of a motor(10) includes a brake case(100), a brake driving shaft(200), a rotation plate(300), a lining(400), an electromagnet(500), a brake disk(600), and an elastic spring(700). The rotation plate rotates in correspondence with rotation of a rotation shaft(20). The lining is a round ring-shaped plate member. The electromagnet generates magnetic force by supplying power to an induction coil and the motor. The brake disk is in contact with the lining when the power is applied to the electromagnet and is in contact with the lining by the elastic spring when the power is intercepted, thereby disabling the rotation plate to rotate. The elastic spring is inserted into the brake driving shaft positioned between an inner peripheral surface of the brake case and the brake case.
