The turboprop (11) has a set of propellers (13a, 13b) formed by a blade (20) secured to a pair of annular rotary supports (19a, 19b). An epicyclic mechanism (27a) carries a planet-carrier ring (30a) mounted on the support. The ring carries two groups (33b, 34b) of planet gearwheels (35). The gearwheels of the group (33b) is interposed between a toothed ring (39) of the support and a toothed ring (40) of a stationary casing (14), and the gearwheels of the group (34b) is interposed between a toothed ring (42) of an actuator annulus (21a) and a toothed ring (44) of a control annulus (25a).
