#CMT# #/CMT# The generator has a coding table (4) containing sets (SM1-SM4) of digital words (M11-M18, M12-M28, M31-M38, M41-M48) and supplying the words (M12-M28) of the set (SM2) that is selected based on configuration of information elements contained in an addressing circuit (3). An amplitude modulator (2) is in the form of a digitally controlled amplifier whose gain is controlled by the words from the table. The selected word set codes events by amplitude variations to reduce bandwidth of pulses from the generator.
