An encoding system and an encoding method using an LDPC(Low Density Parity Check) encoding method and a decoding system and a decoding method thereof are provided to compose a code rate and various parity check matrixes H according to a size of a codeword by using the small amount of information. A block expansion unit(100) expands blocks of a parity matrix and the others except for the parity matrix according to a size of a code in a parity check matrix. A parity check matrix calculation unit(200) obtains a block-expanded parity check matrix by combining the block-expanded parity matrix and the others except for the parity matrix according to a code rate. A generator matrix calculation unit(300a) obtains a generator matrix of the parity check matrix by using a reverse matrix of the parity matrix. A codeword selection unit(400) obtains a codeword by encoding information received through the generator matrix. A codeword transmission unit(500) converts the codeword to a signal by performing a constellation process and an IFFT(Inverse Fast Fourier Transform) process, and transmits the converted signal to a channel.
