PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a loss of power transmitted from a driving means to a delivery means when connecting the adjacent delivery means, and to stabilize a delivery operation of an article. SOLUTION: The power from a conveyer drive unit is transmitted to an article delivery part of an article storage column in the central part (or nearest to the central part), when depressing an article selection button to select the article and when the article storage columns for storing the selected article are connected. The power imparted from one conveyer drive unit is thereby transmitted through the less number of article delivery parts than the connected number of article delivery parts. The loss of the power transmitted to the delivery means is suppressed to transmit the power for the delivery of the article to each article delivery part, and the delivery operation of the article is stabilized.
