PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing device which can differentiate conditions for disposing of a printing plate from a printing plate storage member, depending on whether ink is of an ultraviolet-curing type or a non-ultraviolet-curing type, a printing plate disposal information device to be used for the printing device, a printing plate disposal information program and a recording medium in which the printing plate disposal information program is recorded. SOLUTION: This printing plate disposal information device 41 has the following function: first, it is detected whether the ink is of an ultraviolet-curing type or a non-ultraviolet-curing type, is detected, then specified conditions are set in order to determine the necessity to dispose of the printing plate stored in the printing plate storage member in which the printing plate released from a plate cylinder, is stored, according to the kind of the detected ink, and it is decided whether the specified conditions have been satisfied. When it is decided that the specified conditions have been satisfied, the information to the effect that the printing plate stored in the printing plate storage member is to be disposed of, is issued. In addition, the printing plate disposal information program, the recording medium in which the program is recorded, the printing plate disposal information device 41 or the printing device with the recording medium are provided.
