PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assembly toy whose component members can be connected by a simple operation of connecting support frame members supporting the component members, allowing even children to enjoy assembly and disassembly of a toy body and allowing ease of storage. SOLUTION: The assembly toy includes the toy body 1 having the plurality of component members 2, and the plurality of support frame members 3 respectively supporting the component members 2. The component members 2 and the support frame members 3 have respective engaging portions 4 and 5 that can engage and disengage in a horizontal direction. Each of the support frame members 3 has a fitting part 6 for connecting the support frame members to one another. Each of the component members 2 has a fitting portion 7 for connecting the component members to one another. When the support frame members 3 are connected to one another in the state of making the support frame members 3 support the component members 2, the component members 2 are connected by the fitting portions 7 to form the toy body 1, so that the toy body 1 can engage with or disengage from the support frame members 2 connected to one another.
