PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of acquiring data and using it in determining the possibilities of onset of the Dravet syndrome, this method being also applicable to an infant younger than one year. SOLUTION: The method is employed to determine if some specific risk factor that is closely related to the onset of the Dravet syndrome and is also detectable in an infant younger than one year is included in the related data. By this method, the data to determine the possibilities of onset of the Dravet syndrome is easy to acquire at low costs at an early onset stage of this disease or before it becomes incurable.
