PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trap device which has a simple structure, is easy to install, is less apt for soil and sand to infiltrate into a cylinder device, even in stormy weather, and which facilitates management. SOLUTION: The cylinder device 2 contains a plurality of animal foot detection wires 4 for receiving the weight of the animal foot fit into the cylinder; the wires are extended in the cylinder, in a manner of separating the adjacent wires from each other; the tip end of each animal foot detection wire 4 is fixed to the front side wall of the cylinder device 2; the rear end of the animal foot detection wire 4 is passed through a corresponding through-hole 5 opened on the rear side wall and drawn to outside; the parts near the rear ends of the wires are bonded together; and the device is further provided with a trigger member 7, attached to the rear-end bonded part 6 for starting the tying motion of the tying part, attached to the tip end of the tying trap body.
