A tamper-evidencing closure for a container having a container opening is disclosed. The closure comprises a closure base 34 having a dispensing aperture adapted for mounting on the container adjacent to the container opening. A sealing member 35 closes the aperture and the container opening. A connection member 36 releasably interconnects the closure base and the sealing member. The closure base and the sealing member are formed of a first material, and the connection member is formed of a second material that is more pliable than the first material.
