<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To render an image of an image data having a multiplicity of pixel formats into a frame buffer without an increased program size. <P>SOLUTION: A data processing system (1) includes a data processing unit (2), a first conversion table (17) having conversion information corresponding to a specified format and a predetermined format, a second conversion table (18) having inverse conversion information, and a frame buffer (11) into which the image data on which pixel calculation has been performed is rendered. Using the conversion information read from the first conversion table, the data processing unit converts the image data of the specified format into the predetermined format (S3-S10), and performs pixel calculation using the converted image data (S22). Using the inverse conversion information read from the second conversion table, the data processing unit performs inverse conversion of the image data format resulting from the pixel calculation into the specified format (S23-S30), and renders it into the frame buffer (S32). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
