<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment, easily and rapidly varying scroll speed in scroll display, an operation method of electronic equipment, and a program therefor. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic equipment includes: a rotary operation part 40 having a track ball 41 and capable of operating the track ball 41 in at least two directions; and a display 21 capable of displaying a plurality of choices C by scroll display.
